Shakhtar museum continues to grow owing to more new exhibits. On the morning of 12 November, the head coach of FC Shakhtar Donetsk Mircea Lucescu personally broThose are three new replicas: two of the league cups of the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12, plus the Cup of Ukraine 2011/12. All of them were made in Turkey to order for Mister and decorated with the engraved initials M. L.
So from now on, the major Cup won in the history of Shakhtar - UEFA Cup – neighbours with six replicas of the premiership trophies (seasons 2004/05, 2005/06, 2007/08, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12) and four replica Cups of Ukraine (seasons 2003/04, 2007/08, 2010/11, 2011/12).
Mister pointed out that he wanted the museum to feature a complete collection of the titles. It is noteworthy that all the copies brought by Lucescu are made of precious metal. The cups are made of silver 925 and gilded inside. In addition, Mister already handed to the club museum his first formal Shakhtar suit, which the visitors will see soon. He put it on for the first time when he started to work with the Donetsk team. Of course, the Pitmen’s old crest is emblazoned on it. Mr Lucescu also promised to replenish the storage with a few notes he usually makes during match preparations. And in response to our question as to whether the museum will also display his famous hat from "Bravo, the Federation!" series, the coach laughed and said clearly, "Yes! It will! "
While watching other exhibits, the Romanian specialist stopped by the footballers’ footprints - where the captain foot of Srna stands out - and noticed that it was time to further fill up the exhibition. To start with, say, Razvan Rat and Tomas Hubschman and then bring the footprints of the other footballers.
Let us remind you that Mircea Lucescu is a true collector. For example, Mister’s room at the training centre is full of videotapes of all the matches of Shakhtar under his leadership. Why cassettes, not CDs or other modern media? In one of his interviews, Lucescu said:
- I'm conservative in everything, I respect the past. In general, I have no special liking to appliances. I try to rely on my brains and memory. But I find it easier with cassettes: so I started to collect them after joining Shakhtar.
