Nordsjælland got a confident 3-0 win over Esbjerg. On 32 minutes John put the hosts in front. At the beginning of the second half Lorentzen doubled the lead.
With a couple of minutes remaining before the final whistle, Stokholm netted Nordsjælland’s third goal. It should also be noted that on 49 minutes Esbjerg was reduced to ten players.

After literally five minutes, Vidal converted a penalty awarded for handling the ball inside the penalty box. On 19 minutes Matri bore down on goal to make it 3-0. In the second half both teams scored one goal each: Osvaldo for Roma and Giovinco for Juventus.
